The NFCB Guide to Underwriting, 2nd Edition

This 21 page guide outlines in clear language what public radio stations can and cannot say in underwriting credits, and the reasoning behind the regulations. Each section has been updated to include the most recent FCC rulings. New sections have been added on underwriting by nonprofits, political underwriting, mentioning for-profits in nonprofit underwriting and vice versa, logos, and more.

The 2004 NFCB Guide to Underwriting was updated and revised by Ginny Z. Berson, NFCB's Vice President and Director of Federation Services. It was reviewed and further revised by John Crigler, partner in the law firm of Garvey Schubert Barer, Washington, D.C.
